Exasperating Harry (2011)

Harry Wegener abandoned his family many years ago and set off to travel the world as a wildlife photographer. Now a heart attack forces him to adhere to a healthy diet and a stress-free existence back in Germany. The problem is that Harry needs somebody to look after him – and nobody wants him. His like-minded daughter Fritzi forgave him long ago, but now she is a mother and there simply isn‘t any room in her apartment. His wife Katharina and their

other daughter Julia - a doctor who has turned the family home into her surgery - would rather see him dead than alive. Harry‘s mother-in-law Sophie would enjoy his presence: his clumsiness is legendary and would guarantee some chaos in their boring lives. So in the end the three women pull together and take Harry in. While Julia makes no secret of her dislike for her father, Katharina discovers to her surprise that her old love for Harry has been rekindled. And when Harry packs his bags again, it creates even more unrest.
